Burbank Recap and a New Original!

Burbank was HOT.
SUPER HOT.
Bexter-wanted-to-pass-out type of HOT.
Luckily, Ora and I actually had a nice amount of shade, unlike our poor neighbor.
Chris Brake - sidewalk chalk artist. This poor guy was in the blazing sunlight the entire day, covered in chalk dust as he created this masterpiece.
I kept a close eye on the booth - from the outside, where there was a slight breeze instead of hot, stagnant air.
Ora switched up the booth design and set Imagine in the center instead of the usual Aquarius.
And then I delicately dropped the frame on the ground and broke it...
Oops :(

Here's some good news to distract you from the fact that I'm a frame-destroyer...
ORA HAS FINISHED THE LATEST ORIGINAL PAINTING!!!
Infinite will be traveling with us to San Diego this upcoming weekend.

I saw it finished for the first time today in the studio and I can honestly say that my crappy camera picture does NOT do it justice! Come down to San Diego and see for yourselves!

Tempe and Tucson Round-up!

We're back from another two weeks on the road! First up was Tempe - we had beautiful weather and lots of regulars swinging by the booth. It was a BUSY weekend, so Ora and I unwound in the best way.
We swung by RĂșla BĂșla and enjoyed some fine Irish dining!
Guinness makes everything better!
(Actually, neither Ora nor I like Guinness much... Ora had hers with champagne while I opted for some Magner's cider.)

Tucson was... HOT! We ended up internally roasting the entire time in our cozy little booth. Luckily, the heat didn't keep the art fans away!
There was a consistent flow along the street. Seeing that we were located on the corner of 4th Avenue and 6th Street, we got wave after wave of people. They rushed across the street when the walk sign flashed and ended up in a massive group, staring in awe at Ora's art.
It got so crowded that you had to fight your way out of the booth in order to fetch more iced green tea! I (Bexter) made many enemies as I shoved my way out in search of icy beverages.

Now that we're back home, Ora has done some AMAZING work on her newest piece, Infinite. Let's see a progression:
Part 1
Part 2
Part 3! There's still a little more to be done, but it's getting close!

Next show is Downtown Burbank Fine Arts Festival on Saturday and Sunday.
